Teaching is Unlocking the Treasures of Knowledge

What a marvelous privilege to teach! In all of history, we have the greatest resources to empower the next generations. These links are not necessarily in order of importance, except that literacy must be first (sorry math teachers.) Though I think you can discern my liberal arts bias here.

Shakespeare, J. S. Bach, Michaelangelo, the Bible, Charles Dickens, e e cummings, Beethoven, Langston Hughes...all for you boys and girls.

Algebra, chemistry, engineering, astrophysics, trigonometry...all for you girls and boys.

Yo Yo Ma, Steven Spielberg, Marion Anderson, Isaac Perlman, Anna Pavlova, Freddie Mercury, Meryl Streep, Artur Rubinstein, the Beatles, Mr. Bojangles, Isaac Perlmann...all for you, students.

Lincoln, Moses, Marie Curie, the Great Khan, Catherine the Great, Ghandi, St. Bridget of Ireland, Simon Bolivar, Susan B. Anthony, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, Jesus, Elizabeth I, Mohammed, Julius Caesar...all for you, class.
