MzTeachuh's Year End Roundup
Writing a blog is an enormous privilege, a blog for education even greater. The enormity of publishing posts with influence, interest and information relevant to my colleagues invigorates and inspires me. These are top posts from last year in the areas I have chosen to focus.
On the day of President Obama's second Inauguration, the MzTeachuh site received over 2500 hits during his speech on a post about Dr. Martin Luther King; folks looking for more information. What a profound honor to provide a biography and links. I reposted this in August.

School organization was another hot topic with the trigger school question. My journalism background kicked in and I interviewed Principal David Mobley who ferried his school safely through an extremely difficult time. He is now principal at West Creek ES,

There is so much valuable information about ed tech and Special Needs, I branched out with two more daily posts on those subjects. Apps for mobile and other devices are the biggest topics in both the ed tech and special needs areas.
I still love to post fine arts--music, art, literature and especially poetry. Pop culture, of course. And my classes always know I have a whacky sense of humor. That's just me.
Educating the whole student--SEL Social/Emotional Learning--leads me to post activities for classes and families to enjoy nature while learning and relaxing together.
Thank you to our international audience. MzTeachuh has been published for two years now, and will be approaching 500,000 visitors in a few days. It is a privilege to serve you. USA, Russia, Canada, France, UK, Germany, Japan, Ukraine, Australia, Brazil--top ten for the last two years. And thanks to Google for hosting blogspot and for computing the data.
